What is “Brotox”?
“Brotox” is a play on words for botulinum toxin injections, also known as Botox. The botulinum toxin is a neuromodulator, and when injected into muscles it blocks messages from your nervous system preventing them from contracting or tightening. This causes the muscles to relax, softening lines and creases that may have formed in the area. Brotox is commonly used as an anti-aging treatment to reduce facial lines and wrinkles.
Why are men interested in Brotox?
Men want results that make them appear more masculine and younger to give them more of an edge. However, they also want results that blend into their existing features. As stated above, there is a great emphasis on physical appearance today and everyone wants to look youthful and full of life and energy. This can be especially true in the workplace, but men also seek cosmetic treatments to instill within them a greater sense of self-confidence.
The biggest concern men have when considering cosmetic procedures is that the results will be obvious. They don’t want results that look too perfect or straight, and they want to retain some of their natural features with just a hint of refinement.

Results
Depending on the treated area, treatment should take 15-20 minutes and does not require any anesthesia. It is a quick procedure with no significant downtime. We do recommend patients avoid touching the area heavily or consuming alcohol within 24 hours of treatment.
You may experience swelling and bruising afterward. It may take several days for the toxin to reach its peak effect, with results lasting 3-4 months. Muscle action will gradually return and need to be treated again. The appearance of lines and creases generally return less severe with subsequent treatments often producing more lasting results than the patient might have experienced previously.
